SAN FRANCISCO, May 10, 2023 – Camus Energy, a leading grid orchestration software platform, today announced the appointment of Kelly Lorincz as its new Chief Revenue Officer.
Lorincz leads the company's growth strategy, leveraging decades of sales leadership experience in demand response, virtual power plants, and energy efficiency. He will work closely with Camus’ executive team to maximize the company's revenue generation, driving a customer-centric approach to sustainable growth. Lorincz will report directly to the company's Chief Executive Officer, Astrid Atkinson.
"Kelly brings both exceptional sales strategy expertise and deep understanding of the technology orchestrating, decarbonizing and ultimately transforming the grid," said Atkinson. "His proven ability to lead and scale revenue teams in this space is invaluable to Camus. He’s joining us at a critical moment not only for our own organization but also for our industry, as utilities grapple with an increasingly complex grid.”
Before joining Camus, Lorincz served as the Vice President of Sales at Voltus, leading the team responsible for connecting more than 30,000 megawatts of flexible electricity demand around the world. Prior to his time at Voltus, Lorincz led teams as Vice President of Sales at Uplight, Senior Managing Director at Enel X, and Vice President and Managing Director at Constellation. He began his career at Canadian utility ENMAX.
"We’re at a pivotal moment where orchestration of local energy resources is no longer a nice to have, but a need to have for operators,” said Lorincz.
“Camus has answered that call with a world-class product designed by an engineering team with unparalleled software development experience and understanding of the unique challenges utilities face. The company is exceedingly well-positioned for growth, and I’m thrilled to help more and more grid operators access next-generation orchestration software.”
